What is a Chicken PSA Share?

A PSA (Producer-Supervised Agriculture) share means you're not buying grocery-store chicken — you're partnering with the farm before harvest. You pay a share price upfront, we raise your birds on open pasture using our natural methods, and you pick them up at harvest time. You get to know exactly where your food comes from.

How many chickens do I get?

PSA shares are offered in multiple sizes — from a small family sampler to a bulk whole-season share. The exact share sizes and bird counts for 2026 are listed in the pricing section above. Not sure what's right for you? Reach out and we'll help you choose.

How are the birds packaged?

Birds are processed whole. You receive whole pastured chickens, vacuum-sealed and ready for your freezer. Whole birds let you roast, spatchcock, or break them down yourself — you get the most value and flexibility.

When and where do I pick up?

Pickup is on-farm at harvest time each season. We'll confirm your exact pickup date by email once your share is reserved. Our farm is in Williamsburg, MI — we'll send you full address and directions when your harvest date is set.

How does pricing work? Is there a deposit?

Each whole pastured bird is $29.99. A $5 deposit per bird is collected at reservation to hold your spot — the remaining $24.99 per bird is due at pickup. Spots are limited each season and go fast. No hidden fees, no surprises.
